What you get
- A shared family record for one matter — you and the co-parents you name, working from the same facts.
- Immutable messages. Each entry is sealed with a SHA-256 hash chained to the one before it, so editing or deleting history is detectable — by anyone, at any time.
- Integrity-check export. One click produces a report comparing the message chain and your evidence files with the SHA-256 digests recorded when they were added, and lists anything that could not be checked. It shows what was compared — it is not a certification, a signature, or a guarantee of how a court will treat your documents.
- Named-member access. Only people you explicitly add can see the record. Every membership change is audited.
- One subscription, both parents. Invited members use your plan — they never need to pay, and their own accounts are never upgraded implicitly.
The shared record stays factual
The shared Family record is factual and has no per-message metering. The £2.99 plan includes no monthly Action Credits. You can buy a credit pack when you want to use preparation tools; the cost of each action is shown before you run it. Record messages remain separate from AI drafting and are never sent to model providers merely because you buy credits.
The same account can prepare a family matter, a small claim or an HMO rent repayment application. Keep each matter in its own case workspace and use your bought credits wherever you need them.
How it works
- Create your record for your family matter and name it (for example, "Child arrangements — 2026").
- Invite the co-parent (and a McKenzie Friend or solicitor if you choose) by account. They see only this record.
- Log events as they happen — handovers, calls, agreements, incidents. Entries are sealed in order and cannot be quietly rewritten.
- Export when it matters. The integrity-check export re-verifies everything against its recorded digests and produces a report you can hand to your solicitor or the court — showing exactly what was, and was not, checked.
Safety and control
- You control membership. Add only people you consent to share with — everyone in the record sees the messages.
- Membership changes and exports are audit-logged with who, when and what.
- Your material is stored in the UK region and is never used to train anything.
