Accessibility Statement
Where we are today — honestly
- No independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit has yet been carried out. One is planned before the service takes paying users at scale; this statement will be updated with its findings.
- What has been done: every navigation button in the portal carries an accessible name; the portal works at phone width; colour is not the only carrier of meaning in status labels; forms have visible labels; the portal and site are keyboard-navigable in the main journeys.
- Known limitations: some data tables in the portal (evidence lists, chronology tables) are wide and require horizontal scrolling on small screens; PDF bundles generated by the service are text-searchable but have not been tested with screen readers; the Welsh language is not yet supported — the service is in English only; the hearing-rehearsal and chat features rely on reading long text.
What you can do if something does not work for you
Email hello@evidencecanvas.co.uk with the page or feature and what happened. We aim to reply within two working days and, where we can, to provide the information in another format (for example a plain document instead of a table). If you are using the service through a practitioner, they can also download documents for you in DOCX or PDF.
Browsers and assistive technology
The portal is tested in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. It should work with the screen readers built into those browsers and operating systems, but see the known limitations above.
Enforcement
Noverquis Ltd is a private company; the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to it. We publish this statement voluntarily because the people we serve need it. The Equality Act 2010 still applies to us as a service provider, and if you believe we have not made a reasonable adjustment you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
