Small claims packs, priced per document — never per hour
Unpaid B2B invoices, cancelled flights, unprotected tenancy deposits, botched building work: five dedicated engines will take each claim from free calculator to Letter Before Action to a filed Money Claim Online pack and CPR-compliant hearing bundle (coming soon). Every money figure will be computed in code and every cost shown before you commit.

Court fees are separate — and knowable in advance.
Issue fees on the small claims track scale with the amount claimed. We keep the current fee table, with worked examples, in a separate guide.
Won your claim? Enforcement is a separate stage — with its own fee scale.
A judgment does not force payment. If the debtor still does not pay, you can ask the county court for a warrant of control, or the High Court for a writ of control under the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, so that enforcement agents can take control of goods.
Enforcement-agent fees are fixed by the Taking Control of Goods (Fees) Regulations 2014: a £75 compliance stage, then £235 plus 7.5% of anything above £1,500 at the enforcement stage, and a further £235 if a sale stage is needed. Those fees are added to the debt the debtor owes — and you can challenge a notice whose figures do not match the regulations.
EvidenceCanvas keeps the enforcement paperwork dated in one file — judgment, warrant or writ, every notice of enforcement and fee receipt — so a fee dispute is argued from a record, not from memory.

What this is — and is not.
- EvidenceCanvas is not a law firm and gives no legal advice; the packs will be prepared by software (coming soon) and you will check and file them.
- The Late Payment Act engine applies to business-to-business debts; consumer debts follow a different route (CPR late-payment interest under s.69 County Courts Act 1984) and are out of scope.
- Most claims up to £10,000 in England and Wales are allocated to the small claims track; the engines will follow CPR 7 and CPR 16 formatting so packs are track-ready (coming soon).
- HMO and rent repayment claims will run on a dedicated engine (coming soon): rent repayment orders & HMO validation →
